I had an idea to do a monochromatic image with a pop of color for the duck image. I thought this would make a great inspirational card.

Showers and Flowers stamp set - Card 2
I had previously colored several images from the Flowers and Showers stamp set. It is paired with a pretty floral patterned paper and coordinating solids.
When die cutting, using the negative and positive pieces yields less waste. And is a fast and easy way to dress up the inside of the card!

Simon Says Stamp Showers & Flowers | Thinking of You
This Spring card came together quickly using some great products from Simon Says Stamp and Carta Bella.
This is an A2 size card (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). The card front is Neenah 80# solar white cut to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". The gingham is from the Carta Bella Spring Market collection and it is cut 1/8" small to give just a very small white border. I used three dies from my nested circle die set for the focal image and the a stitched border die for the sentiment. The sentiment is from the Beautiful Day stamp set. I finished off the front with Bottle Green Nuvo drops and a little Nuvo glitter pen on the flowers. This card front was mounted to a card base made from Neenah 110# solar white.
For the inside of the card I used the leftover gingham paper and a sticker from the Flower Market sticker sheet collection.
